In January 2023, we launched our pilot program and just completed our second cohort in October. For each session, there were five young men from across the country who spent a jam-packed weekend in Orlando.
The Weekend Mentorship Program exposed participants to some dynamic and knowledgable professionals who took the time to share their own experiences and challenged existing ways of thinking. Speakers and presenters from various backgrounds including entrepreneurs, business owners, sales professionals, a personal finance coach, and a personal trainer were highlights of the weekend.
The incredible people that gave of their time and themselves included:
Icebreaking and team building activities including an improv comedy session at SAK Comedy Lab with Dave Russell, axe throwing and an escape room, provided opportunities to learn more about one another and build connections. The weekend wrapped up with introspective and goal setting, for which we do periodic check ins and provide continuous resources.
